We firmly believe in the importance of regular screenings and the importance of early detection, our team regularly looks for signs of oral cancer during patient visits and screenings.

The facts...

• The National Cancer Institute estimated that there would be more than 53,000 new cases of oral cancer diagnosed in 2020.
• Historically, the death rate associated with this cancer is particularly high—not because it is hard to discover or diagnose, but due to the cancer being routinely discovered late in its development.
• Oral cancer is rising in low-risk groups.
• Oral cancer rates are rising in women, young people, and non-smokers.
